Trozo Policy

Last updated: May 9, 2026

This page explains, in simple terms, how Trozo handles loyalty program data for both merchants and customers.

1. Scope

Trozo powers loyalty rewards, coin earning, and redemption features for Shopify stores that install the app.

2. For Merchants

3. Loyalty Program Terms

The specific terms of the loyalty program — including how many coins are awarded, what each coin is worth, and what limits apply — are set and controlled entirely by the merchant. Trozo enforces whatever the merchant has configured; Trozo itself does not determine these values.

Points value

The monetary value of each coin (i.e. how much of a discount one coin provides) and the earning rate (how many coins are awarded per rupee spent) are determined solely by the merchant through the Trozo Dashboard. These rates may be changed by the merchant at any time without prior notice. Customers should check the current rates in the widget before completing a purchase.

Earning and redemption limits

Merchants set the maximum number of coins that can be redeemed on a single order, as well as a minimum order value required before coins may be earned or redeemed. These limits may differ between earning and redemption and may be updated by the merchant at any time.

Cancellations and refunds

When an order is fully cancelled or a partial refund is issued, both earned and redeemed points are adjusted proportionately to the refunded amount:

5. Data Security

We use reasonable technical and operational safeguards to protect service data. No online system can promise absolute security.

6. Data Retention

Data is retained for as long as needed to provide the loyalty service, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements.

7. Contact

For policy or privacy questions, please contact your merchant first. If needed, the merchant can escalate the request to the Trozo support team.
